QUICK, WARM & COSY
Our Studio Mini Session is fifteen minutes at our festive set in the studio. It's warm, it's calm, and it's over before anyone gets restless, which makes it a good fit for little ones with short attention spans, or for families who want great photos without planning a whole afternoon around them.
Studio Mini Sessions come in two packages: Essentials and Keepsake.
Essentials is the standard studio mini session with digital files, and Keepsake is standard studio with digital files AND a beautiful Memory Box with your favourite prints from the session.
Our Christmas Market Session is thirty minutes at the Münsterplatz Christmas Market, one of the most beautiful markets in Basel. Instead of a backdrop, you have the real thing: stalls, twinkling lights, and the season happening all around you.
Sessions start in the late afternoon, when the light is soft and the market lights are coming on. We'll wander and capture your family enjoying the market together.
PHOTOS YOU CAN HOLD
Most family photos live on a phone, somewhere between the screenshots and photos of receipts. The Memory Box is our way of bringing your favourites back into your hands.
Inside are ten of your favourite photos from your session, printed on premium paper, each one ready to display, all presented in a handmade keepsake box. Take them out to look through on Christmas morning, frame one for the grandparents, and keep the rest safe for years to come.
The Memory Box is beautifully finished in suede green, red or beige, with personalisation options.
The Memory Box is included in your Studio Keepsake mini or can be purchased as an add-on.
STUDIO - ESSENTIALS MINI
Fifteen minutes is all it takes. Everyone in their favourite Christmas outfits, a few laughs at our festive backdrop, and a set of photos worth printing for cards, frames, or just the fridge.
The Essentials Mini is Christmas photography without the fuss: quick to book, quick to shoot, ready in time to enjoy the season.
STUDIO - KEEPSAKE MINI
Some photos are meant for scrolling past; others are meant to be opened, held, and kept somewhere close.
The Keepsake Mini gives you both. The same relaxed studio session as the Essentials Mini, plus The Memory Box: ten of your favourite portraits, beautifully presented in a handmade keepsake box built to last well beyond this Christmas.
CHRISTMAS MARKET SESSIONS
Step into the magic of the Münsterplatz Christmas Market in Basel for a relaxed 30-minute family session.
Which session is right for our family?
It depends on the kind of photos you'd like and how your family is this season.
The Studio Mini Session is short, warm and guided, with a classic festive look, and ideal if you want something quick and easy. It is also ideal if you want to rock Christmas PJs!
The Christmas Market Session is longer and more relaxed, with natural photos of your family enjoying the market lights, and ideal if you'd love a Christmas outing with photos included.
How does booking work?
Click "Book now", choose your session type, and pick a date and time. You'll pay a CHF 100 deposit to reserve your spot, and the rest is due 5 days before your session.
What should we wear?
Your session with us includes our prep guide where we also inform you about outfit selection ideas for warm and happy photos. You will receive a prep guide after you've booked your session with us.
When will we receive our gallery?
Studio galleries are delivered within 14 days of your session, and Christmas Market galleries within 10 days. Either way, your photos will arrive well before Christmas Eve. Express 3-day Delivery is available as an add-on if you'd get it earlier than 14 days. You will be able to select this add-on during the booking process.
Do you provide props?
The studio will be styled with a cozy Christmas backdrop. As we will not have any other props, you’re welcome to bring small personal festive props.
For the Studio Mini Session, the studio will be styled with a cosy Christmas backdrop. You're welcome to bring small personal festive props, like a favourite teddy or a Christmas book or Santa hat. For the Christmas Market Session, the market itself is the backdrop, so no props are needed.
How many photos will we get?
Both the Studio Mini Session and Christmas Market Session include 10 professionally edited digital images.
You'll choose your favourites from your private online gallery. If you fall in love with more photos, you can add extra images or the full gallery when you make your selection.
Can we select the photos from our gallery?
Absolutely. You will be able select the included photos from your private online gallery.
Will The Memory Box arrive before Christmas?
For Studio sessions, we make every reasonable effort to have The Memory Box delivered before Christmas Eve, as long as you choose your photos within 48 hours of receiving your gallery.
As Christmas Market Sessions take place later in the season, any printed products ordered from those sessions will arrive in the New Year.
What happens if the weather is bad on our market date?
A little cold or drizzle (or snow!) is part of the magic. If the weather makes the session unsafe or impossible, we'll reschedule with you, or refund your deposit if we can't find another time.
